Starlight Classes (Ages 6–11)

Through drama games, movement, character work and simple performance activities, children are encouraged to express themselves, work as part of a team and develop confidence, without pressure to perform before they’re ready.

Sessions are lively and engaging but always structured, with clear guidance and encouragement from experienced tutors. Whether your child is naturally confident or a little more reserved, Starlight provides a safe space to try new things and enjoy performing arts at their own pace.

Age ranges are a guideline. Placement is always based on individual confidence and suitability. If you’re unsure which class is right for your child, please get in touch.

Sessions remain supportive and pressure-free, while offering more independence and creative challenge as students develop. Children are encouraged to collaborate, share ideas and build resilience through simple performances and creative outcomes.

How It Works

Classes run weekly during term time and are booked in 4-week blocks.

You can book directly online, and your child is welcome to join straight away or when a space becomes available.

We focus on confidence, enjoyment, and individual progress rather than pressure or performance.

A classroom with children sitting on the floor and a woman standing in front. Decorations and artwork are on the walls, including stars and colorful drawings. The woman has long curly hair and is wearing a black hoodie with a white comedy and tragedy mask design on the back.

Other Ways to Get Involved

We also run creative performing arts workshops for schools, community groups and during school holidays and half terms.

Children watching a play or performance with a stage and black curtain, some sitting on the floor and others performing.
Two young girls sitting at a blue table, drawing characters with markers on white paper. One girl is drawing a girl, and the other is drawing a face with big teeth. There are scattered paper scraps and a container filled with colorful markers.
